Spent a bit of time offline lately. It’s good to do that once in a while, get re-acquainted with the real world out there. Spent the last week and a half away from work (which allows me to be offline) and Maricela came out from Tucson and we did a whirlwind tour up and down the eastern seaboard — D.C., Baltimore, NYC and even a little Sparta NJ and Columbia MD thrown in for good measure. Took tons of pictures.

If you follow me here, you may have noticed an absence of pics uploaded in the last couple months. Have debated moving my photo albums over to Flickr — unhappy with the Typepad photo sharing capabilities, but also wary of Flickr due to the lack of digital-to-physical capabilities there ala Kodak, Snapfish, etc.  So my pics are in a bit of limbo … sigh. Collecting on my hard drive. Anyway … (oh wait, stop the presses. OK, I’ll be moving to Flickr full-on then, soon. Yippee!)

After our east coast trip M. and I flew back to Tucson — she to get prepared to move to Albuquerque, and I to attend the wedding of John and Mary. Some more pics taken there, both of the (short) wedding and of Tucson in general. Arrived back home last night and took the day off today to recover.

Will need to get the photo situation figured out. Still sitting on some Nationals/winter/condo pics n addition to these, and with Apple Blossom festival in Winchester with Stacey and Eli approaching this weekend, more pictures on the horizon. Also thinking of reorganizing the weblog/website scene. When I’ll have the time to do that, I’m not sure. Between working, playing, and maintaining the website, guess which one takes the backseat. Yep. You’re looking at it. But all in due time.
